Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Two things I want to say first.

Now! I know the club isn't very active and people come and go a lot so I was wondering if anyone had any interesting contest ideas to get/keep people interested in the club. Prizes don't HAVE to be handed out but if anyone wishes to donate anything, that's fine too and always accepted.

I liked doing the monologues of the two in the journal as it was fun to do and people liked it so I might do that again just to be silly. /off topic

But yeah if anyone has any interesting ideas that they might like to do for contests, let us know, yeah? Comment below and see what happens! I'm currently writing a fic where SG!Skyfire is in G1 with Starscream so anything's possible for ideas.

First of I have re-read the rules on our front page. :salute:
Second, okey that cleared some of my confusion. ^w^

I'm raking my brain but nothing comes up. Perhaps something simple since it's fall and and reality have come back to rule once more.

Perhaps a contest where they just relax, doing nothing but enjoy the others company? Just a thought. This idea can be for both artists and authors.

i don't have any ideas for a specific theme (have you seen how often i have to ask my co-mods and members for theme ideas at my communities?), but i do want to toss out that reminder that whatever is chosen should be a theme that lends itself to more than one kind of media. we're not all visual artistis and it's no fun for those of us who aren't if we don't even get to choose if we get to participate or not.

I know what you mean. A lot of groups and people who do their own personal contests only want visual art and not written art. As writers that's frustrating since we can't put our skills to good use. Contest goals have to be able to fit everyone's needs and not just one specific artist's.

Here's a random idea, probably no good. Mixing the different series, for example Armada Jetfire meet G1 Starscream or TFA Starscream meets G1 Skyfire, and so on.
